Born in Tel-Aviv, Israel, in 1962, Tal Lancman is a trend forecast analyst and
designer. He has been the editor-creative director for Textile View magazine, the leading industry magazine defining trends in colors, textile, fashion, decoration, and marketing since 1995.
His contribution for the series “Interware” and “The art of living” published in Textile View focused on the transversal approach, emphasizing the meeting point between different disciplines: design, fashion, architecture and art.
Tal Lancman’s broad spectrum of design and consultancy experiences range from companies in the fields of textiles and fashion, to design and beauty. Clients and collaborations include Baccarat; Boffi; Baleri, Chopard; Driade, Felissimo Japan; Itochu; Lasvit, Limited NY; L’Oreal Paris; Reebok; Shiseido; Tai Ping, and Veronese. He has exhibited his work at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris; MOMA Museum of Modern Art, NY; MUDAM Museum of Modern Art, Luxembourg; Musée d’Art et d’Industrie of Saint-Etienne; Milan’s Triennale Design Museum, Pompidou Center Paris and curated design exhibitions in France, USA and Israel.
In 2003 Tal Lancman, in partnership with Haute Couture designer Maurizio Galante, founded the design and consultancy agency INTERWARE, which aims at establishing a balance between the industrial and the craftsmanship’s traditions, welcoming the best of both fields.Back to the page
